The party we attended had the following:

    Korean Beef Tacos w/ slaw
Shredded Chicken Buffalo Dip and Tortilla Chips
    Stuffed Mushrooms
Bacon-wrapped Dates stuffed w/Ricotta (too legit to quit)
    Deviled Eggs w/Crab Filling
Bruschetta w/ Cherry Tomatoes in Balsamic Marinade
    Key Lime Cheesecake
    Pineapple Cupcakes
    Cheese Platter
    Apples w/Fruit Dip

I ate way too much and am up 4 lbs over yesterday morning. Like Surfah, I feel pretty much awful today.

That doesn't sound like Super Bowl party food.

FN is right. We don't exactly roll with a bunch of hillbilly NASCAR watchers. After the game we sat around smoking pipes and discussing moral relativism.

I don't think that falafel can grow a quality stache

I had about sixty friends over plus a handful of kids.

                I prepared the following

Smoked pork shoulders for pulled pork. The leftovers are in the freezer for later enjoyment.

                Smoked four tri-tip roasts

                Smoked about twenty chicken quarters

We had a bunch of sides and desserts that others brought. It was all good. Everyone went home stuffed.

MG has my back on this one.

That point notwithstanding, I enjoyed traditional super bowl fare last night.

I had crispy pata. The room service guy told me I needed to consume with beer. Never a good thing when Filipinos dont want to eat something while completely sober. It was actually pretty good with diet coke.

I guess pata translates to pork leg. It is braised to tenderize and then deep fried. Served over a bed of freshly made pork rinds or chicharron as they are called here. A vinegar and soy dipping sauce.
