I think the Ogden area steak houses are all overrated and overpriced, including Maddox.

IMO, avoid Timbermine. The menu is limited, the food is unremarkable, the decor is incredibly kitschy and thrift store for the price of the food. I can't believe that place survives.

One place I have never been is the Grey Cliff lodge in Ogden Canyon. Not very far up the canyon. Anyone have any experience there?

If you are ever in the mood to branch out for Mexican in Ogden, there is a place called Ventanas. Both times we have been there, were were the only caucasians in the place.

My family eats there all the time. Some of them are Caucasians.
