  • For you Grilled Cheese afficionados....

I know we have some CUFers that lay claim to a mean grilled cheese.

This activity might spark your competitive jones. It would be fun to see how your GC stacks up against the competition.

We are heading to the Coliseum to watch the SC spring game on Saturday. Now we are going via downtown and some grilled cheese sampling. Please don't tell fitday.com.

I hate when people call them toasted cheese sandwiches. It sounds so childish.

Do you actually grill them? I know I don't. The sandwich is toasted in a pan thus it is a toasted cheese sandwich.

I would say they're seared. Seared Cheese Sandwiches. Sounds better than toasted.
Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

then is it really a "George Foreman Toaster?" I don't know if that machine meets the criteria to be classified as a grill.

I believe that particular device has raised ridges thus making it nominally a grilling machine. I use no such device when preparing toasted cheese sandwiches preferring to stick to a flat bottomed pan.

Fried cheese sandwich would also be acceptable.

Toasted cheese sandwich sounds too British for my liking. I cook mine on an electric frying pan.

I LOVE GRILLED CHEESE!!!!#$@#@#@#!!!!! Especially on Grandma Sycamore's. I think I'll make a grilled cheese this weekend with some of this funky Japanese square loaf that I have. It might take me some time to get used to a loaf of bread having only 8 slices in it.
