  • Need some local Provo Restaurant Help.

Situation: Am hosting a pre-wedding dinner, and need a nice semi-private room at a semi-decent restaurant to host 15/20 people. Trying to keep around $15/head. A good room is better than good food, as someone will always complain about the latter anyway.

    Thanks in advance.

I think Magleby's might fit the bill.

Also maybe La Jolla Groves. (Yeah I know the foodies will rip that suggestion but you said the food didn't matter).

Edit: Here's the link for the La Jolla Groves private room: http://lajollagroves.com/catering.html

We did a wedding lunch at Bombay House. The food is very good and they are not open for lunch so we had the entire place to ourselves.

Is the chefs table too pricey for this?

Carrabbas is a nice place for groups and I believe they have a private room.

We had a groom's dinner at Goodwood. They were great to work with, had decent prices, and give you menu options. They have a room just off the main dining area for this kind of thing.

We invaded Sundance this morning for brunch. It's always good...and very very inexpensive. A family of 5 for less than $100 is unheard of in NY. Plus, despite my hatred of this godforsaken state, Sundance is always breath taking!
