  • Beyond Glaze

For those of you that live donuts and happen to be living in or visiting the motherland, check out Beyond Glaze.

    http://www.beyondglaze.com/

These donuts kick butt. They take the standard approach to "gourmet donut" fare and add some interesting flavors. Located at 123S right off the 15.

This morning we are trying a sampler that includes the following flavors:

Maple Bacon (real bacon strips on top)....freaking amazing

Coconut Cream Cheese (with toasted candied coconut topping)

    Cherry Limeaid

    Grasshopper

    Pumpkin Chocolate Chip

    Peach Cobbler

    Raspberry Mango

There are others not featured on the website. For example, a tasty jalapeno donut I enjoyed earlier.

A nice place to go for a post-date dessert or to pick up a tasty treat when you are hosting guests. Indulge.
    Fitter. Happier. More Productive.

The maple bacon is killer. Once again, Jim Gaffigan is right - adding bacon to anything makes it better.

Oh my gosh. I'll take one of each! Looks delicious. Must remember to go there when I visit in July.

I'll have to try it again. I went to the location in Draper once and was thoroughly unimpressed. The donut was stale and just not that good.

I'll take Banbury Cross or even the Lehi Bakery over what I had at Beyond Glaze, but I'm willing to give them another shot.

Those kind of look like a non-high person's version of Voodoo Doughnut in Portland and Eugene.

Never noticed this thread before. I like the cherry limeade donut at Beyond Glaze. When they first went into business they were delivering donuts before they had their brick/mortor store. My father-in-law the donut baker was curious about their product but didn't want to order from them directly so he had my wife order a dozen and have them delivered to our house.

Do you mean to suggest there is no "Cock 'n Balls" at Beyond Glaze?
