Don't worry about people stealing your ideas. If your ideas are any good, you'll have to ram them down people's throats.

I was at Red Rock Brewery for the BYU game. I abstained so the cougars could be blessed.

Actually, I was craving an ice cold Antartica Original in a 400 ml glass so much that I couldn't bear to drink the swill they offered.

I'm heartened to see a strong contingent of partakers here.

Anyone here had any Odell Brewing beers? http://odellbrewing.com/beers

They're out of Colorado and I'm picking up a bunch (the 5 Barrel Pale Ale and the 90 Shilling) in Idaho this weekend for co-workers and myself. I've never tried them before.

This thread completely validates everything that a normal Cougarboarder thinks of CUF.

I will just say that I have never tasted beer in my life, so visiting CBers will know that there are still some active LDS folk around here.

If I did drink beer, I think I would try Grolsch, since it has those cool bottles with the ceramic stoppers and a manly-sounding name (although for all I know it is Dutch for "Zima").

Seriously, who gives a flying fsck what a CBer would think? Let them judge. It's their problem.

thanks Clark for providing some balance.

I don't understand how CBers and TBMs can't understand that the current interpretation of the WoW as it relates to beer is not the historic interpretation. I drank beer in moderation and went to the temple. I absolutely observed the word of wisdom.

Grolsch is a light lager, so it tastes only subtly different from any of the ones that advertise during football games.

Regarding CBs stereotypes, I don't suppose they would be smart enough to recognize that non-drinkers wouldn't post in a thread about beer, so I'm sure you're right that this thread will play to their confirmation bias, just like the (presumably) minority of Ute fans that drink allow them to call the entire fanbase a bunch of drunks (because all drinkers are drunks, of course). All the better for us.

I don't give a flying fsck. I might possibly give a flying fig, but that is probably the upper limit.

Trader Joe's Holiday Vintage Ale is produced by Unibroue and only $4.99. It's in the dubbel style, iirc, and good for the price.

Indeed! I've had a couple different TJ-Unibroue ales and they're quite similar to the real thing. Splendid.

Nice! I like triples better than dubbels, but dubbles are very good too, and at that price I will check it out for sure!
