  • I bought 3 pork sirloin roasts yesterday..

    Favorite recipes? I think for my first roast, I will make honey, garlic and sage roast.. The other two, I need good recipes. Let's hear em!

    I'd be shocked if you get many responses here. We are in a recession and you are bragging about all the expensive meat you are buying?

      If you like Cafe Rio pork, here's a cheap and easy imitation.

      Couple cups of Pace Medium Picante, can of green chilis, cup of brown sugar. Toss in the crock pot for four hours on high setting, shred, let simmer for another hour or so. Eat with burrito, taco, salad, or chips.

          What can I say...I'm shameless. Did I forget to mention that I only buy Ortega green chilis? I did and I do. Store brand is for peasants.

              We make several recipes that call for Pace salsa. Using a different salsa always has produced an inferior product for us.
