Copper Onion and Red Iguana have been two of my favorites. I've heard quite a bit about Forage, but haven't had the chance to go. Also if you haven't been to Bruges Waffles and Frites, you are missing out. Of course the waffles are fantastic, but so is the machine gun.

I love the setting and we have had some great meals there but I wasn't impressed the last time we went. I think they got a new chef a year or two ago. Maybe we just got unlucky with our selections.

I definitely thought things were better than when we had been before. It has been over 2-3 years since the last visit. I actually went with pretty low expectations but was pleasantly suprised.

Speaking of SLC restaurants, Dine-O-Round is back (www.dineoround.com). Not a bad way to experience some of the valley's better restaurants for a relatively low price. We've done it in the past - makes for a fun night with friends.

We used to take recruits to dinner at Bambara and I thought it was pretty good.
