About as appetizing as B.M. sprinkles in my book. Does anyone really love this stuff?

Wow. Never heard that.Originally posted by Clark Addison View PostI love it, and use it quite a bit when cooking for myself or my family, but I know a lot of people hate it (which is actually genetic, I believe), so I use it rarely when cooking for others.

So you cilantro lovers aren't freaks. Comforting for ya'll, I'm sure.
Asparagus and wiffy tinkle, and now this.I intend to live forever.

When I first had it, I thought it tasted like soap. Now, I love the taste, and I use it all the time, though I've never had any luck growing the stuff myself. I also like the seeds, coriander, ground up in curries. They give a lemony pep to things without the soaking that citrus juices cause."Wuap's "problem" is that he is smart & principled & committed to a moral course of action. I haven't either. It always starts well, but gets out of control pretty quickly and the plant is gone.Originally posted by wuapinmon View PostWhen I first had it, I thought it tasted like soap. We grew some this year and have been able to use it in the salsa we made last week...Originally posted by wuapinmon View PostWhen I first had it, I thought it tasted like soap. What's your secret? Seriously. I know the heat is less harsh up in your parts, but mine always sprouts, and then if I cut any, it just all dies. It's not like basil that grows like a weed.Originally posted by dabrockster View PostWe grew some this year and have been able to use it in the salsa we made last week..."Wuap's "problem" is that he is smart & principled & committed to a moral course of action. I will report back to you if it grows more.. We did not plant it with the rest of our garden. It is in a pot sitting on our patio table by itself...

I do want to point out that the only freaks I see are those who actually created a FB page and blog on their hatred.. Along with those who actually researched the origin of why people would hate it...Originally posted by Brian View PostWow. Never heard that.
