Normal corndogs are disgusting. Fake corndogs can only be worse.

I do appreciate a nice mustard line, though. I always try to inject a little style and panache into my mustard lines. The ones in the fake corndog pic are pretty interesting. I think the dots make them unique.

On corn dogs I usually add the mustard with each bite, I don't give away my whole game plan as shown in this picture.

Hot dogs are another story, since other condiments would likely sit on top, such as chopped pickles and onions. I usually you back and forth with the mustard all the way down, very short wavelengths, finished with a quick line up.

I kind of like it when the mustard bottle is almost empty and you get that spray.

I'm the same way. If I am to eat a corn dog..er....corny dog....it is all about the mustard dip/dunk for me. I need a decent amount of mustard for each bite, which I suppose speaks the flavor of corn dogs See also: soft pretzels.

My reference above to mustard lines relates strictly to hot dogs. I try not to do wavy mustard lines....not enough style. For the Puffy Check, I mix it up....I have done lightening bolts, football lacing, candy cane stripes. I even did their first names in Morse Code, which is why the dots on the picture above caught my eye. While I would never eat a hot dog with ketchup, using ketchup as part of the decor adds variety..red circles with yellow centers, for example. Kids love that stuff. For 4th of July, we had those fat hot dogs and I used ketchup and mayo to do red and white Old Glory stripes. Those were awesome. Clearly I did not eat them because it would have been really disgusting.

If I use ketchup or mustard and get any juice due to not shaking well I will throw the whole meal away.

Dude! You should've done red and yellow stripes!!! I know you've always been a fan of regional autonomy...

Ditto. Mustard juice ruins a meal.

Wow, this has opened my eyes. We usually eat Hebrew National dogs, which don't provide for a lot of room to showcase one's talent. I imagine the Costco dogs would be great for this, you could write the Preamble on those bad boys.

While I respect Boar's Head, I'm always a bit puzzled by the "all beef" thing - why does that need to be advertised? If they're beef hot dogs can't I just assume that they're "all beef" and not "90% beef, 10% cat"?
