If I could get Hawaiian Sun here I'd probably drink 5000 calories a day of POG, guava, or lilikoi.

Sports game (both at home or there) - Diet coke at home. Coke at the game (see Theater)
Theater w/popcorn - I usually go with root beer or regular Coke here. Only because if I have a diet Coke I may not make it two hours without having to pee.
    Fine dining - Water
Fast food - Diet Coke or lemonade.
Most liquid in fridge - Milk and juice for the kiddos
Hot summer day/BBQ - Pepsi Max, Apple Beer (I wish I could get that here)

Drink I can't stand: Don't really have one. Not big on cream sodas. Though an orange cream isn't terrible.

Surfah, there is apple beer in my fridge. I'll drink one for you right now.

Apple Beer is my favorite soft drink in the world. Man I love that stuff. I tried to keep a 6 pack in my fridge for games and BBQs when in Utah.

I've never had it. Is it like Martinelli's?

Anyone remember Apple Slice? Is Apple Beer anything like that?

Yes. I loved Apple Slice. Apple Beer is similar, though perhaps a bit more organic tasting. Apple slice had a notable chemical acidity that isn't there with Apple Beer.

Apple beer is nothing like Martinelli's.

Apple slice is to Apple Beer what Kroger brand cola is to Mexican Coke.

Both carbonated, apple-flavored drinks. Nothing alike about that.

If Martinelli's is the champagne of apple juice then Apple Beer is the, well beer. Like Donut said it has a head on it. In fact they advertise it that way as the only soft drink with a head. It's not pucker tart as Martinelli's and other similar apple drinks. In fact I think it is a bit bitter and has a strong aftertaste. It's not syrupy sweet like most soft drinks. I believe it's from Germany originally and then the US distributor is in Utah. I can't remember the name of that short lived burger joint across from the BYU practice fields, but a friend from home was the manager there and we'd just go in and drink apple beer until we felt sick.

That place was destined for failure, wasn't it? It was HUGE, and I don't think I ever saw more than 5-10 people in there at a time. The Apple Beer was nice, though. J-Dawg's also rocked the soda-fountain Apple Beer.

Do the venues out there still allow that? Big 12 venues don't allow outside beverages - even water. Some of the venues allow you to bring empty water bottles to fill inside the stadium. DKR doesn't allow containers of any kind.

Jerry's? I loved that place. But yeah their overhead seemed like it was ridiculous. I liked the fried egg, chili burger. And we used to do the karaoke for family night sometimes. My kids were young then, and they had a blast.

                              Breakfast - Milk
                              Lunch - Water
Dinner - Water or Welches Grape Juice
                              Sporting event - Water
                              On a ride - Water

Rexburg has the best tasting tap water in the world. A company could bottle this stuff up right out of the tap and it's as good as any bottled water out there.

I found out last night that despite my attempts to be carbonation free I have a huge weakness for Mexican Coke in glass bottles.
