There is a Crown Burger right near temple square. we tried the pastrami on the burger. the beef tasted fine, the pastrami lacked much flavor at all. Is that a hit or miss place? The burger was fine to eat again, but the pastrami on it added almost nothing. At least the one I had. What is the consensus here on that place?

I've had a not so terrific pastrami burger at that particular Crown Burger a couple of times, but it's usually really good. I prefer Astro Burger, mostly because there is one closer to my house than a Crown.

I prefer the version that's on texas toast. Not sure if Crown has it but Apollo Burger does (the Golden Burger). Either way I think it's incredibly overrated.

your taste buds must have been burned off. crown burger pastrami is glorious. tender, delicious, and absurdly flavorful. i've never eaten there and not had perfect pastrami.

Love Crown Burger and the Greek burger joints in general. Most of them do great pastrami burgers. I've been to the same Astro Burger as IPU and enjoy it as well.

I love Crown Burgers and I love most of their knock offs out there like Astro and Burger Supreme.
