Go just over the border into SC to Springs Farm. They let you eat in the field and they charge for a "bucket" so you can pack as many in as you want, not buy by the pound. The store also has strawberry soft serve and peaches when they're in season.

I think it goes without saying that the fertile soil of the Ohio Miami Valley combined with the hard work and cheerfulness of those who care for the crop make it vastly superior to those berries you find elsewhere.
