  • Prime rib: cured?

I had prime rib last week that was so good I wanted to die. I went and got prime rib again a few days later and it was just as good. I think it might be my favorite food of all. OK so lately I've been really into corned beef. And I noticed there was something similar in the prime rib with the corned beef I've had recently. Is there a cured taste in prime rib?

I have never heard of a "cured" prime rib. Maybe what you are tasting is the benefits of an "aged" prime rib. Aging is a much different process than "curing".
