  • Hail to the Girl Scout Cookies

This year we were suckered into buying them from three different sources so we have ten boxes in our pantry. I love the Samoas and Tagalongs, except they don't call them that anymore. My wife is a big fan of Thin Mints, which I only like when crumbled on top of vanilla ice cream or mixed in a shake.

My council is only selling four flavors this year. What's up with that? That's okay though, they're overpriced anyway.

That and we got a box of Tagalongs or whatever the peanut butter ones are and the number of cookies in a box now is ridiculous.

I wish we had girl scouts come to our house to sell us cookies. Instead all we have is teens selling Snickers Bars & Gummy Worms next to the bank ATM.

There was a bit on the news last night about slumping Girl Scout cookie sales as a result of the economy. I guess they are having a particularly bad year nationwide.

I expect the selling behavior to be more aggressive than usual in the coming weekends at all Target and supermarket parking lots.
