    Utz

I recently switched my loyalty from Frito-Lay to Utz. Anyone else on the Utz bandwagon?

Tell me more about this Utz and why I should switch from Frito-Lay.

Utz is a chip and snack food manufacturer/distributor on the east coast. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Utz_Quality_Foods,_Inc. ... I switched for a few reasons:

      - Better flavor
      - Cheaper price -- I assume because of lower marketing budgets.
      - I'm on the east coast, so there's a small desire to support an east coast company rather than a brand from elsewhere (Frito-Lay is based in Dallas).

I'm convinced. Unfortunately, unless Utah is considered the east coast, I'm afraid I'll have to stick with Frito-Lay.

Utz isn't too bad. Their HQ is nearby.

Completely agree. There's something about it that strikes me the wrong way as well.

Is this brand pronounced the way I want it to be pronounced? If so, it is my favorite brand.

I've always heard it pronounced as a short U as in umbrella, utterly, and understand.

Oh, well. They're not available in Utah anyway.
