That one sticks out in my mind, too, but I believed it was because of my sickeningly deep bias towards that country.

I noticed a month or so ago that the first six seasons are on Netflix instant stream. Since then I've been watching them constantly to catch up, and what I've noticed is that I'm significantly less interested in learning about the country's culture than just seeing awesome food. Thus, the Spain episode totally kicked ass.

Just rewatched the Mexico episode and that has to be among my favorites. The end was very moving. I just love Mexico so much.

Rewatched the 100th episode visit to paris and relived my trip to le chateaubriand. That was fun.

Since I'm basically a fan of the food porn, all the episodes I have left in my queue are the ones where the food doesn't seem like it would be very exciting. I just watched harbin, china and it was one of the more entertaining eps I've seen in a while. Some seriously quirky characters on that one.

man the bourdain show on cnn is good. interesting takes and cool places. he's a little smarmy but seems to realize he's not that smart which is redeeming.
