Anyone been to Torchy's Tacos? I'm heading there with MJ for lunch today. One opened down the road from us and it's all the rave among the women in the ward, which makes me skeptical since they all also love Olive Garden.

I wouldn't let it bother you. The Olive Garden lover on this board holds himself out to be an expert on Mexican food.

I was impressed with their pretzel crust pizza last year. Not a traditional pizza taste, but it was actually pretty good.

you know little caesar's famous breadsticks, FKA "crazy bread"? they do that on the crust. it's not on the menu. you have to be "in the know," like the people who order animal style at in n out.

nothing wrong with deep fried 50 cent tacos. Ok there is a lot wrong with them, starting with the american cheese they have one them, but I will like em.

My teenage daughter is a big fan. We travel a lot during softball season playing in weekend tournaments and she lives off those tacos.

I am the same. Is it great? No, not really, but it is $5. It is about what you should expect for a $5 pizza. My kids like it as much as the $25 or $30 pizza from the gourmet pizza place, so why would I pay that when a $5 pizza suits them just as well?
