Jimmy John's is better, I agree. I also like Jersey Mike's, but I don't think is healthier than Subway.
Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

Anything with fried food and soft white bread, or mass produced Mexican, as the primary offering, with over the counter ordering and service.

Ivar's prawns and to a lesser degree fish and chips are worthy of mention.

Chipotle is the best fast food Mexican chain, IMO. Though I wouldn't say it's healthy, at least the ingredients are fresh.

They use the patties from the day before that were over cooked or whatnot and recycle in a way.

Jack in the box does the same for their 2 for 99c tacos.

Chipotle, IMO, has fast food that is actually GOOD, and not just acceptable. Subway is acceptable. I still enjoy fast food burgers, especially In-n-Out, but I'm not kidding myself... they are nutritional poison.

A Chipotle burrito will set you back a minimum 800-900 calories. A few extras and you're eating over a grand on lunch. I know, because I am fat.

I find it is easier just to ask them before ordering which bread is the freshest and then go with that.
i think you are right. i dislike subway because the bread is gross. the wheat bread is always dry and crumbly. also, has anyone noticed that the jalapenos always seem really old? I think they must change them once a month, max.

As long as people are talking about Chipotle, I'll throw out Rubios. I think it's pretty tasty.
Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

I like Rubios much more than chipotle.

Surfah is right, chipotle is a massive calorie bomb. You are better off eating a few slices of pizza than eating an entire chipotle burrito, chips, and a soda.

I like the Crazy Chicken, too. grew up on that stuff.

The subway I went to always had decent bread, so that worked out. I would prefer a whole wheat instead of their part whole wheat, but at least it was wheat of some sort.

Mayo on sandwiches is gross. I don't understand how people eat that stuff.
Awesomeness now has a name. Let me introduce myself.

I decided to mix up my usual BMT the other day and got a Tuna Melt. For $5 it was good and very filling. When I'm on the road, I will get a Subway and go to my room and watch the Sports de jour. Good times.

Wendy's spicy chicken sandwich - it's convenient on my way home from work and open late.

On a side note, one of the things I miss from Philadelphia is the food trucks outside the hospital. Good variety, open late and usually tasty. Much better than the routine fast food joints. Don't know about the nutritional quality or lack thereof.
