I picked up some cactus pears at the local Mexican market, and can't figure out how to eat them. I peel them first, but the fruit is so full of hard seeds that it seems basically inedible. The taste is nice.

To the seeds out? There are SO MANY. It is like eating sweet fruit mixed with gravel. I can see how the agua de tuna could work, where you filter out the seeds, but I think I would still prefer agua de melon.Originally posted by falafel View PostComment
