  • Your favorite Churrascaria?

My brother took me to one in NYC the week I got home from my mission. It was the best, period.

My next favorite is fogo de chao. I'm here now. It is awesome. The alcatara is the best I've had. Picanha is obviously delicious. Hey, even the toilets have a trash can next to them.

I've only been to Tucanos and Rodizio's. Which is more churrascarias than I ever ate at during my 22 months in Brazil. I like the style of beans and rice I had every day down there, but it's probably not the best inspiration for a restaurant.

The pao de queijo that I had every once in a while, however...mmmmmmmmmm.

I've only ever been to Rodizio and Texas de Brazil in Las Vegas. TdB was much, much better IMO. Fantastic but pricey.

I have only been to Rodizio as well. All my co-workers who go to Houston for conferences and such all stop @ fogo de chao and rave about it.

I ate at Tucanos and some place in Buenos Aires where some random girls tried to get me drunk... I would say the Argentinean place was a lot better, but the beverage situation in Provo was a lot better.

Rum jungle used to have a great chrrascaria. I wonder if they still offer it.

TdB is good, but not 2x the price of Tucano's good.

Same. And Tucano's is not good.

I like the Braza Grill. It's close to home and I think it's less hit or miss than Rodizio. I've been several times and the meat is usually perfect.

I like it a lot--at least for the fact that I can eat some authentic-tasting beans & rice (with Farofa even). I'm not a huge fan of most of the meat they bring around. But I do like the grilled pineapple.

Tucanos and Rodizio's are OK. It's been a while since I've been there. When comparing to Fogo de Chao, it is painfully obvious the difference in quality.

Also, I was quite stunned at how often fogo de chao brought by the picanha, filet, and alcatara.
