Cougar tail donuts or bulldog scones?

Byutv is advertising cougar tail donuts. Do to roster loss didn’t do to well in bulldog territory yesterday. I did get scones and sprite after game. Bulldogs had player was going across 86 by Snake River to Beaver territory but decided to stay dawg. Was pretty good. Never had cougar tales yet.

I’ll own the grumpy old fart persona. One good thing about being a grumpy old fart is I have the money to get season tickets (mixed in amongst the stadium donor seats who are are benefitting from their Grandpa’s measly contribution back in 1980). But I’m a leave-early-to-beat-traffic kind of guy; especially during late games because I want to get home by midnight. I routinely get snide comments from people about leaving early, that I’m not a “true fan”, etc. but I don’t care. I just smile and say “Go Cougars” and head to the parking lot.

I think the chocolate frosting is superior and should supplant the boring maple. Or, it can be offered as an option to those with refined palates.

I might need to repent for my date last week, but there is no repenting for preferring chocolate over maple.

Hey, one of you guys should start a thread on how much you hate it when people stand up in front of you at football and basketball games. That would be a good one.

This weekend I bought seats in the SW corner of the endzone, 19th row. I wanted to avoid the oldies in the west stands that would argue with me standing. Plus, it is hard to sit when the ROC is up on almost every down!

There were about 10 seats on my row, and another 10 on the row in front of me. They were all (i.e., 18 seats, minus my 2) sitting the entire game. They came to watch a family member who made the cheer team, which is so awesome. But not a single one of these people stood during a single down in the game. Football seemed to be getting in the WAY of the cheerleading they came to witness. Everyone behind me was standing. No one in front of me was standing. The matriarch was asked by a nice fellow in front of her if she minded if he stood during exciting parts of the game. She said YES, I do not approve!
