A friend of mine turned me on to Little World last year. I thought it was pretty good food (for SLC Chinese), but just recently a friend turned me on to the Shanghai Cafe.

Much better in my opinion.
Lately my big thing has been Thai (just finished up some yellow curry- nummers!).
Thai Siam has the best Thai food I've had in Salt Lake so far. Anyone know anything better?

Thai's totally five years ago, but I still love it. You should be thinking about Vietnamese or Korean food... those two are all the rage now. What'll be the next Asian sensation, though? Maybe a back-to-basics approach to sushi and Japanese food? Has the time finally come for Indian food to be elevated? Or maybe something that's never really taken off in the US, like Philippine or Indonesian?

Don't know if it's better as I haven't been to Thai Siam but we're big fans of Chanon Thai Cafe (278 S 900 E in SLC) and Pawit's Royale Thai (1968 E Murray Holladay Road in Holladay.) Let us know how they compare!
Kids in general these days seem more socially retarded...
None of them date. They hang out. They text. They sit in the same car or room and don't say a word...they text. Then, they go home and whack off to internet porn.
I think that's the sad truth about why these kids are retards.

The time is now for Indian!
In spite of several forays into vietnamese cuisine, I have never become a fan. I've tried a pho or two that have been okay, but I've never once said to myself, "I simply MUST have some Vietnamese food."
Little World is fantastic Chinese food for the first 20 minutes. After that, it's greasy and congealed and any breaded chicken entre (General Tso's, Orange chicken, lemon chicken, etc) turns into rubbery globs. Since their portions are huge, it's better to split an entre between two people and eat it within a half an hour. Then, it's fantastic. My favorite is the eggplant.
Dont know why, but I've been underwhelmed by Mo Bettah Steaks the three times I've eaten from there. Their steak is great, so I concentrate on that. The other items are normal plate lunch fare.
Great thread, although I still can't decide whether or not YOhio is being serious about Panda Express.
Maybe he's tricked me, but in my experience eating Chinese food throughout Asia, Panda is actually really pretty close on several things. And I think it is cleaner and safer than eating it in Asia. I like Panda.
