  • Buffalo Jerky is delish!

I went for a run on my lunch then stopped by the store to buy some Vitamin Water Zero XXX. I noticed some Montacal Bison Buffalo Jerky so I thought I would try it out. Very good and only 50 calories, 1.5g of fat and 8g of carbs. This may replace the special K bar (chocolately drizzle, yum) as my new lunch.

We have the special K bars at my house they are delicious.

My new favorite however are the Chex Mix bars from Costco, Turtle flavor.

    Yum!

I've been cooking with a lot more bison these last few months. I've used ground bison to make great chili, and we used a bison pot roast for Sunday dinner a couple of months ago It's not at all gamy and quite mild.

Where do you get bison? I need to expand my grocery shopping beyond Harmon's.

Harmon's actually sells Bison these days. You can also get it at Sunflower Market and Whole Paycheck.

We also recently saw bison at Albertson's (or Fresh Market now?). Fresh Market did not, however, have smoked gouda in my hour of need.

I need to check out Vitamin Water Zero. I was getting my juice fix via Vitamin Water 10 (a reasonable 25 calories per bottle). I assume VW0 contains zero calories? Am I also correct to assume that VW0 XXX is highly sexual? I need to check it out.

Skip it and go for the Sobe Life Water. Much better tasting, IMO.

Skip Sobe Life Water and go for Propel. 10 calories! (maybe 20...)

Nasty. Propel tastes like a Splenda bomb. Life Water is naturally sweetened (though I'm not a fan of the Mango Melon flavor).

Now this I can get behind. Also, Cherry Coke Zero.

I am looking for a nice combination of low calories and highly-charged sexuality.

Vitamin Water Zero XXX sounds like the one for me.

For some reason I think the Zero (yes with 0 calories) tastes better than the 10 calories. At least for the XXX. No comment on its properties other than taste.

I was drinking the Sobes for awhile, but they are too sweet for me. I don't mind Propel, but prefer Vitamin Water to any of the flavored low-cal drinks I have tried to date.

Vitamin water tastes nasty to me.
