  • good eayts near sea world.

After a day of fun at sea world, we're ready to eat. Any suggestions? This message will self destruct in 10 minutes.

campy but accessible and easy for you to find....head down the fwy (south on the 5) to Old Town and go to Old Town Mex (OTMC). Always packed. Get a bowl of posole and some carnitas. Or some tacos. or a carne asada burrito. You are very close to that area so the drive should be short.

actually, depending on your time and budget, keep heading downtown into the Gaslamp and eat at any number of good places, plus a few really good places.

no worries, but stay ON the reservation. Carnitas, carne asada, posole (the albondigas soup is also good...basically a meatball soup), tacos (the mexican kind, not the american kind). They also sell these mexican style ribs. The tortillas are right off the hot rock, so pretty tasty.

dont bother with the salsa. If I recall, pretty ordinary.

I ate here on DDD's recommendation two years ago. Tasty. We also hit two italian places he pointed us to - one in the Gaslamp and one somewhere else that I can't remember right now. Good eats!

I don't know if its still there, but I used to go to Mr. As. Its on the flight path to the airport and you can sit on the patio and watch the jets scream in overhead. Feels like you can reach out and touch them they come so close. A little pricey but fOod is decent.
