Can anybody confirm this? While I was in Utah for the Holidays, my friend informed me that President Monson goes to the Apollo Burger once a week...and orders a Coke with his meal. True story.

If you want to dine witht he Mormon "Elderatti" - go to The Manadrin in Bountiful. The last four times I've been there, one of The Twelve has been there. Elder Perry (twice), Elder Ballard & Elder Eyring. ASnd those are the guys I recognize. There are probably other GAs that I don't recognize.

After we saw Elder Eyring at the Mandarin, we saw him within 30 minutes downtown at my cousin's wedding reception at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building/Hotel Utah. He saw us and had a look of concern - you could tell he thought he might be being stalked or something. His relief was evident when it became clear that we obviously knew the bride...

You can regularly see the Elderatti at the cafe in Little America. This includes Sundays.

When I was a cameraman for KSL TV years ago, between the Sunday sessions of General Conference, we would be treated to lunch at the Hotel Utah. Some GAs would eat on the other side of the restaurant, so as not to be tainted by our presence. This was still a treat for us because between the sessions on the other days (this was in the days when they had both Friday and Saturday sessions) we would eat boxed KFC chicken in the tabernacle.
