  • Spitz sunflower seeds are yummy

Whenever I go up to Utah, I try to load up on a few bags of Spitz. My fave is dill. Not a big fan of pizza or the plain salt. I also enjoy the spicy ones.

I am not really a sunflower seed aficionado, but on long roadies, I enjoy eating seeds. I have a cup there to spit the shells. Admittedly, it is a disgusting habit, perhaps slightly less offensive than chewing tobacco. Seems to pass the time on the road, though.

It has been awhile since my last seed cycle, so I have really been into them since Thanksgiving. I have been cracking them every day for a chunk of the day.

The tip of my tongue is now burned from all the salt. ouch.

Does anyone else chew seeds? And if so, what brand? I have tried a few different common brands, but I find Spitz to be superior.

    Fitter. Happier. More Productive.

By far Spitz is the best. I have a huge bag of Dill seeds in my golf bag that I always bust out when I play golf. It is a staple.

      I love Spitz seeds.

      My favorite are:

      Dill
      Cracked Black Pepper
      Chile Lime

The Dill are by far the best, but I am on a Black Pepper kick.

      Not a fan of:

      Seasoned

Those Dill seeds are awesome. I usually rotate between those and David's ranch.
So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

Not a huge fan of Spitz because they are very lightly seasoned. I like the Jim Beam BBQ and Jalapeno as they have much more kick.

I have to say I strongly dislike Spitz. Everytime I have had them they seem to get soggy and lose flavor.

David's are the highest quality I believe.

Also, Spitz seeds are more likely to splinter into a million pieces, whereas David seeds usually just split in half. I noticed David has started doing Dill Pickle flavoring. I still love David's Ranch and BBQ seeds. The original flavored seeds, and still the best, IMO.

I love Spitz. I am hoping they come out with bacon flavor. Yes bacon flavor seeds are awesome. I had some in Vegas when I was there for the BYU game.

There is nothing better than sunflower seeds to stay awake on the road after a night shift. I love sunflower seeds, but I can't stand Spitz--the flavor tastes really weird to me. I know they're popular, but I don't get it. I like Jim Beams the best, David's second.

That was funny. He is right about how good bacon is. Probably the best food out there.
