  • Smoked Chipotle Tabasco Sauce

This stuff is the bomb. Sweet, smoky, with a nice bit of heat without the tang that typically accompanies the vinegary tabasco sauces. I highly recommend this. Goes great on lots of stuff.

I am a Tabasco lover. I have even visited the Tabasco factory in Louisiana (hey, I was in the area). The Chipotle flavor is very nice.

Have you tried the habanero flavor? I tried a sample at the factory and it almost killed me.

I have not. But I like the chipotle sauce quite a bit.

Anything chipotle is good in my book. I love the flavor.

It is a little weird that Tabasco called it 'smoked chipotle' though, since chipotles are smoked jalapenos. A little bit redundant, and somewhat repetitive.

I thought the same thing. Even in on the back of the bottle they have a little pronunciation guide and something explaining that chipotles are exactly that.

I discovered it a while back and always keep some on hand. Great, great stuff.

I went to that factory. It was cool. I think I grabbed about 30 or so of those tiny free Tabasco sample bottles.

As a side note, I don't dig chipotle flavor. Nor do I dig "southwest" cuisine.

I am not a fan of Tabasco. I would much rather have Tapatio or Sriracha (known in my house as cock sauce).

So Surfah and the men in the family put the Chipotle Tobasco on everything, and have for a good while. I I haven't tried it until the other night before bowling we went to Chipotle (the mexican restaurant) and I decided to try some, finally. I loved it. It was awesome, I am a new convert.

I love the Tabasco Green in my burrito bowl at Chipotle's. That and a little bit of lime squeezed in. Mix it all up and yum.
