I am thinking of making cranberry sauce in mine. What do you think? Would it work? Would I cook it on the porridge setting, you think?

What's to explain? It's a bunch of people, most of whom you've never met, who are just as likely to be homicidal maniacs as they are to be normal everyday people, with whom you share the minutiae of your everyday life. It's totally normal, and everyone would understand.

I just make it on the stove but I thought it might be easier in my rice cooker. I have made pudding in my rice cooker before and it is much less of a pain and easier clean up.What's to explain? No idea.
Did you pick up the rice cooker book I recommended? Anything in there?"There is no creature more arrogant than a self-righteous libertarian on the web, am I right? Those folks are just intolerable."

I made it. It turned out well, however, when I make it again, I will cut down on the water a little.
It was much easier to throw it all in than stand by the stove stirring and making sure it doesn't burn. The Zojirushi does do everything. What's to explain? This is the one I have. I think Lebowski has this one, too.

I don't know about the other models, but this has a porridge setting and a timer. I like being about to put steel cut oats in at night and have them ready exactly when I'll need them the next day. I don't know if all models have this setting. What's to explain?
