    It's common knowledge that raisins in baked goods makes delicious food taste horrible. I've posted on this topic elsewhere.

        I have not decided what to do. My daughter will make the final decision, and she does not like nuts. I think adding chocolate chips to pumpkin bread ruins it. I'm just trying to make it a little more interesting. I may go with pure pumpkin bread. One of the foods of the gods, IMO.

            What's to explain? It's a bunch of people, most of whom you've never met, who are just as likely to be homicidal maniacs as they are to be normal everyday people, with whom you share the minutiae of your everyday life. It's totally normal, and everyone would understand.

The problem is that adding the chips takes away the illusion/fantasy that pumpkin bread is somehow healthier than other such breads. Nothing with chocolate chips in it can be healthy.                             Ignore YOhio. He is just trying to play mind games.

                            Just make the bread without any adds....it is tasty that way.
