Pumpkin Bread

I have not decided what to do. My daughter will make the final decision, and she does not like nuts. I think adding chocolate chips to pumpkin bread ruins it. I'm just trying to make it a little more interesting. I may go with pure pumpkin bread. It's a bunch of people, most of whom you've never met, who are just as likely to be homicidal maniacs as they are to be normal everyday people, with whom you share the minutiae of your everyday life. It's totally normal, and everyone would understand.

My love for chocolate and chocolate chips (especially the cookies) borders on the fanatical, but mixing pumpkin and chocolate should be a Word of Wisdom violation. Or maybe just generally a failure of decency.Originally posted by marsupial View PostImpossible.“There is a great deal of difference in believing something still, and believing it again.”

So you object to raisins but approve of chocolate chips in pumpkin bread? I guess I can see that. The problem is that adding the chips takes away the illusion/fantasy that pumpkin bread is somehow healthier than other such breads. Nothing with chocolate chips in it can be healthy. (Which is beside the point when one is eating such good stuff.)Originally posted by YOhio View PostTHANK YOU!!!“There is a great deal of difference in believing something still, and believing it again.”
