A surprisingly excellent Indian joint in Sandy. http://maps.google.com/maps/place?hl...25655469882285
The place is unassuming and locating by a strip mall. Per the norm with some Indian places (I've observed this on numerous occasions at different restaurants), the serve is a bit slow and poky but not horrible.
We ordered the lamb boti masala at their highest heat level ("fiery hot). They mean business with the heat level, but for lovers of spice, it was right on the edge between pleasant fire and unbearable inferno. Excellent strong flavors, tasty spiced rice, and HUGE portions. Mpfunk and I shared one entree and still had leftovers to take home. Cool off with a tangy mango lassi (one of the best, if not the best I've ever had). The naan was different than I've had elsewhere, slightly more scone-like in consistency. The garlic naan was not very garlicy, though. Still good, but not as pungent a garlic flavor as I usually like. I found the kheer a bit disappointing, but that was a fairly small point after such a flavorful and satisfying meal.
