Tonight on Throwdown with Bobby Flay, Glen Kozlowski was a guest judge for a Chicago Deep Dish contest. Bobby gave the Koz special ups and said that he and his cohort were the best judges ever to appear on the show. Bobby ended up losing the contest, but both pizzas looked delish. The whole thing got me hungry for some good deep dish.

Bobby Flay is an asshole. I hate him.I am a philosophical Goldilocks, always looking for something neither too big nor too small, neither too hot nor too cold, something jussssst right. I'll send you a card from purgatory. - PAC
You know how President Hinckley said he doesn't worry about those who pray? The same can be said for men who are self-aware enough to know when there's a life to be lived outside of the world of video games. - Anonymous

I don't care if he can cook well, which I think he can. He just seems like such dick. And when its 2 am and I want to watch Iron Chef America, I pray the challenger doesn't pick him. He is way to serious for his own good. He just seems like an ass.
P.S. I've read on the net he is actually a jerk too. This has had an affect as well on my already inexcusable judgments about someone I don't know for real.I am a philosophical Goldilocks, always looking for something neither too big nor too small, neither too hot nor too cold, something jussssst right. To each their own, but Bobby is my second favorite Food Network chef behind the once maligned but now celebrated Chef Robert Irvine. My Iron Chef preferences are as follows:Originally posted by Gidget View PostI don't care if he can cook well, which I think he can. He just seems like such dick. 1. Bobby Flay
2. Michael Symon - Cleveland boy makes good
3. Chef Morimoto - I like that he needs a translator
4. Cat Cora - Boring
5. Mario - No personality and unpleasant to look at
It's all academic though b/c Chef Robert Irvine would school any of them.

I like Morimoto, Flay, Simon, Cora, and Batali in that order. Though I could toss back a shot with Cora. Does Morimoto really need a translator? It seems like every time he speaks, he starts speaking english and a voice over says exactly what he just said. Seems weird. Anyway, the deep dish episode is on again tonight after ICA. I will watch it.

I have eating at Mesa Grill. While it was good, I don't have a huge desire to eat there again. The service was tremendous though. I had the black and red crusted fillet. I remember the sweet potato au gratin being very tasty.

I guess it's true what they say about needing to love yourself before you can love someone else.
I don't mean in an emotional sense, but then everybody already knew that. There's no such thing as luck, only drunken invincibility. Make it happen.

Is Cat's partner staring at her boobs or what?
Yeah they look a lot alike, but I think Cat is the woman in the relationship.I am a philosophical Goldilocks, always looking for something neither too big nor too small, neither too hot nor too cold, something jussssst right. I'll send you a card from purgatory. - PAC

I ate at Bobby Flay Steak, in The Borgata last June. It was quite good. Much better than the only other famous chef place I have eaten, Delmonico Steakhouse by Emeril at the Venetian.Originally posted by Surfah View PostOn a related note, has anyone here ever eaten at The Mesa Grill or at any of Flay's other restaurants?Get confident, stupid
