I need to make some more, I sent the last batch to falafel.
cheers.
And I just got them yesterday. Thanks!
Also, no need to link to my name. I'm famous.
Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

The night before you want to make some "chips" or "flakes", refresh your liquid starter as you normally would. The following morning, cover one side of a rimless baking sheet (or any other flat object) with some plastic wrap. Spread a paper-thin layer of refreshed starter onto the plastic wrap and allow it to dry at room temperature for about 24-48 hours. Once dehydrated, the starter can then be easily removed from the plastic wrap and broken into chips (or flakes). Place the chips into a Ziploc plastic bag and store indefinitely in the freezer, send via postal mail to a friend, or pack on your next back country campout.
This is a pretty easy crusty bread I tried today. No kneading required. Doesn't it look like a little possum, curled up in a ball?
Here's the recipe: http://slceats.com/post/4711054687/e...ad-recipe-ever
I added chopped dried tomatoes which I rehydrated by steaming, then soaked in EVOO. I also added sage, and saffron. Nice nutty flavor. I wanted to add olives but Mr. Lied doesn't like olives. After baking, I sprinkled with kosher salt.
Like SG, I cooked this in a cast iron pot.
