Of the big fast food burger chains, Carl's Jr. is the best IMO. I'd sure love to replace them with In N Out, but so far the bastards have resisted expanding into the SL market.
The only thing I go to Carls Jr for is the breakfast steak burrito.

After my last In-N-Out visit, I decided I was done with that place.

ok, wait. I just did a quick search.

I was not talking about waffle fries. I misread the post. The waffle cut fries definitely still exist.

However, back in the day, the old fries were crinkle cut, not waffle cut. They did not criss cross or look like a large round chip. They were normal fries with wavy edges. But they were crispy. They had the shape of the fries below, but didn't look gross like the fries below. The flavor was really unique. Never had anything like them since.

Same but different menus on the east coast. Lots of dumb stuff like that when you cross the Mississippi. Dreyer's ice cream becomes Edy's. Best Foods becomes Hellman's.

For those of you from Utah and I know a few here are from Spanish Fork, Barrys fries trump all.

Evangelicals unite! Best Foods sounds much better than Heckman's.

I don't like the prideful sound of "Best" Foods. That has been a major stumbling block to many an egg salad sandwich in our home.

It is already there. They have one in St. George. It even still has that new burger smell.

We were on vacation in SoCal a few years back and a girl working the counter at an In-N-Out told us that hell would freeze over before the company opened a restaurant in Utah. It would ruin their "cool" image. We got a good laugh out of that.

I meant northern utah, but you are correct.

I will second this. At least the part about CJ's being the best fast-food burger chain.

I will also add, that I am a two-time Burger Slayer, thank you very much.

That was a pretty freaky website. Kind of scary, actually.

I guessed the password on the second try. Does it simply allow you through with any password after a few failed attempts?

                          Exactly.

I'm not a fan of Carl's Jr either, but their Breakfast steak burrito isn't bad at all.

Nothing beats a Beto's breakfast burrito. Those things are the best $3 spent. Get the chile verde with the steak, egg, and potato. Oh mercy.

The allure of steak in any format for breakfast eludes me.
