Does anyone else play Team Fortress II, Counter Strike, or Half Life 2: Deathmatch?

I bought the Orange Box set (comes with these games) when it first came out and signed up under Valve to play online. I used the name RobinFinderson. Eventually I stopped playing and my son took over the name. He is nine, and is building up some impressive online stats. I'm not kidding when I say I think the kid could pwn anyone in his age group, and could hold his own in a tournament.

Does anyone else play? It would be cool for my boy to pwn some locals here, and it would be interesting to hear if others think the kid is as good as I think he is.

I do not but I have heard it is fantastic.

I am a COD guy and am really excited for COD5 to come out. I was really disappointed in COD4, truthfully, so I have stuck to COD3 for the most part.

I am also looking forward to Gears of War 2.

Really? I Love COD4. The online play is fantastic. Since COD 1,2,4 were all built by one company and COD 3,5 by another, you should love COD 5. I have to wait for 6 because I felt 3 was very lacking in game play.

On the otherhand, I am excited for GOW 2 as well.

I loved COD2 online, although compared to current incarnations, it is pretty simplistic.

What I love about 3 is all the specialty functions...scouts can call in artillery, medics can heal, etc. Also, the vehicles. COD3 introduced the online game War.

COD4 kind of ripped all that off.

What I dont like about the COD4 gameplay is that too many weapons that cause massive destruction. Lots of noob weapons.

5 looks cool...flamethrowers!

I have read nothing but good things about COD4. Friends have recommended it for The Boy, since a lot of tournament play is going on with COD4.

We are a PC, Wii and PS3 family, so GO2 isn't going to happen this year.

But ultimately I'm more of a Civ4 man.

Gears 2 is great but the matchmaking can take FOREVER. I'm expecting a patch here very quickly to fix it.

I have the Orange Box for the Xbox. Enjoyed Portal and the Half-life games, but Team Fortress 2 on the Xbox is way too laggy and there are too many glitchers.

COD4 and Gears 2 have excellent online multiplayer.
