Yeah, you’re right the Lannister stuff was gross too, and I watched all 75 hours and loved the show. I’m not saying anyone shouldn’t watch House of the Dragon and I don’t like that I came across that way. I just feel like House of the Dragon simply isn’t as good so I guess I’m just less inclined to put up with their continually pushing the line.

I find myself more annoyed with the Queen Rhyaanera with each episode. I find Helena’s son who seems honorable to be an interesting character and I am curious where his path will lead.

I feel like this could be just as good a GOT but it is being squandered. But, I will faithfully watch. Even if it sucks. Much like the last few seasons of Dexter. lol

this is the textbook definition of sunk cost fallacy. I kept watching, despite what Jeff and others said, in the desperate hope that it would end on a high note. It never did; at least the original series.

I was passively watching GOT (more of a background noise) after the series ended. I remember being really confused when Jamie and his sister were romping about the tower ("Wait. I thought they were siblings"), but the shove of the Stark kid kind of clarified that my initial instincts were correct.

Before the Kingstons, there were the Lannisters, I guess.

I just found the show boring as hell and stopped watching sometime during Season 2.

Maybe. I had it on as background. But that also explains why I was a little confused.

Valid. I definitely have notes for them, too. Besides the already mentioned complaint I'd suggest maybe stop naming everyone the same 3 names. They already have the same hair and face, they don't all need an "ae" name.

Some of you may know my fondness for, erm, naughty bits in media. So it might surprise you to know that I never got past the first episode of GOT. And the first one of that sequel, whatever the hell its name was.

And I should be all over those since I'm also a fantasy nerd. But I just couldn't muster the motivation to soldier on.

Overall I kinda pushed through this season of HOTD. It picked up in the last episode but not enough to make up for all the fillers. The Queen is slowly becoming a villain in all of this and comes across as desperate rather than the rightful heir. The only possible likable prince right now is the one without blonde hair that Alicent hid away. Each season should be 10 episodes.

Was that in the first episode? If so, I'll be the and blame that on why I stopped watching.

Well, the first instance of it was in the first episode. But I agree, it was quite suprising.
