I didn't notice if anyone mentioned "Coward of the County" or "Grey Beard"
"The first thing I learned upon becoming a head coach after fifteen years as an assistant was the enormous difference between making a suggestion and making a decision."
"They talk about the economy this year. Hey, my hairline is in recession, my waistline is in inflation. Altogether, I'm in a depression."
"I like to bike. I could beat Lance Armstrong, only because he couldn't pass me if he was behind me."
Dangit. I really need to spend less time working so I can pay better attention to CUF. At least I posted a video with it.
I second this notion. I need to figure out a way to make posting time a billable event

Isn't it weird how seamlessly Kenny Rogers integrates a gang rape into the song? In addition to the beating administered by Tommy, I hope them Gatlin boys face charges and Becky gets some therapy.
Coward of the County is the best. I will be one of the few to go on record as liking the Gambler.
I also like the one with the kid throwing the baseball in the air. Great message.
Both are great songs. Coward of the County is awesome. "But you could have heard a pin drop, when Bobby stopped and locked the door..."
Lucille is a good song. The stereotypical lost-my-house-woman-and-dog-country song, but still good.
I made a mixtape for a girl once that had Lady on it.
"Sure, I fought. I had to fight all my life just to survive. They were all against me. Tried every dirty trick to cut me down, but I beat the bastards and left them in the ditch."

Yeah, it is a bit macabre how causual that is mentioned in that song. I would share that song with my kids except for that part.
In watching several of his videos on YouTube, Mr. Rogers would appear to have an interesting personality.
And a strange sense of fashion. Granted, the white tux he was wearing on stage when performing "Lady" was probably all the rage back in the 70's/80's, but it was not flattering to his expanding waist line.
