The Dark Tower Series

I decided to start reading the Dark Tower series by Stephen King.

I'm a little over halfway through the first book "The Gunslinger" and so far....well...to be honest it kinda sucks.

Please tell me the continuing books in the series get better.

I liked the later books better, but then agian I like Stephen King. I think the second or 3rd book was my favorite.

I read all seven over more than fifteen years. If you like Stephen King, you will like the series. Not every one likes King, but I do.

Books 2-4 are the best IMHO. I like The Gunslinger though. Roland is just a cool hero.

Not a huge fan of most of Stephen King (I just can't get in to most of his horror stories) but I do like The Dark Tower quite a bit.
