A few thoughts after a few weeks of enjoying Utah's only classic hip-hop station.
Way too much Bad Boy records in comparison to Death Row Records. It is probably close to 1:1 Death Row to Bad Boy. It really should be at least a 4:1 ratio.
Cut out with the dirty south shit. It was shit when it was released and it is shit when it is classic hip hop. Obviously exceptions should be made for Outkast (if you put them in that genre) and Petey Pablo's Raise Up.
I still haven't heard anything from Illmatic that needs to be remedied.
I stand by my previous statements that Boyz II Men destroyed RB in the great Boyz II Men/Jodeci culture class. The world would have been a better place had Jodeci won.
