  • Summer Reading

I just finished I Led 3 Lives, by a fellow who posed as a member of the Communist party in the 1940s. I also recently read Prouty's JFK. Now I'm binging on Joseph Campbell.

    What are you reading?

Parting the Waters by Taylor Branch and Narrative of the Life of Frederick Douglass, an American Slave. I guess I'm kind of on a civil rights history kick right now. I imagine I'll be reading something ancient like The Odyssey soon, but I might pick up Umberto Eco's L'isola del giorno dopo too.
Dio perdona tante cose per un’opera di misericordia
God forgives many things for an act of mercy
    Alessandro Manzoni

Knock it off. This board has enough problems without a dose of middle-age lechery.
