What a fantastic season. It's going to be a long wait until the next one.
I picked up on an interesting easter egg tonight (maybe it was obvious to other people):
Spoiler for Tequila Stopper:After watching the finale of Better Call Saul tonight, I rewatched the episode from Breaking Bad where Gus kills Don Eladio and all his Capos. I noticed that the stopper on the bottle of tequila that Gus used to poison Don Eladio was the same stopper that Kim took from her office after she quit last week. I read up on this, and the stopper was from the expensive bottle of tequila that Jimmy bought to celebrate the Sandpiper Settlement. Also the same brand of tequila that Kim and Jimmy scammed the guy at the country club into buying. Interesting that the show made a point of showing Kim grab that tequila stopper one episode before she came up with the plan to throw Howard under the bus to force the Sandpiper settlement. I wonder how long she has been thinking about this. And given that the same tequila was used to kill Don Eladio, I wonder how Kim's Sandpiper scam will end up getting entangles with the cartel. I can't believe that it is just a coincidence that they would use the same imagery throughout without there being some kind of connection.

It was obvious she grabbed something I thought it was a some kind of ornamental pineapple. I didn’t recall what it was from. I assumed one her pro bono clients gave to her and it had sentimental value.Originally posted by UVACoug View PostWhat a fantastic season. It's going to be a long wait until the next one.

Yeah, I remember that the camera focused on it for a long time but I didn't know what it was at the time and forgot about it by the end of the episode. The light bulb went on in my head when I watched the episode where Gus kills Don Eladio again.Originally posted by Art Vandelay View PostIt was obvious she grabbed something I thought it was a some kind of ornamental pineapple. That last episode had some of the best cinematography and acting (Nacho was absolutely fantastic) in the whole series."...you pointy-headed autopsy nerd. Nacho has been fantastic in this show. I was thinking about a ranking of semi-peripheral characters in the BB/BTS universe. Meaning outside of the Whites, Goodman/Wexler families
1) Mike
2) Nacho.
3) Badger/Skinny Pete
4) Lalo- he is a pyschopath, but unlike his cousin Tuco not a sociopath.
5) Saul's secretary
6) Lydia. She isn't likable at all. but i love how neurotic Laura Fraser plays her. Plus I've always liked LF since she was in a Knight's Tale
Last place tie: Hank/ Marie/Todd
