HBO's new serial documentary, The Jinx, is pretty interesting. It's about Robert Durst, the son of a Manhattan real estate tycoon, who is believed by some to have been involved in multiple murders ... including the presumed death of his first wife (who disappeared a few decades ago). Durst, who hasn't given many (if any) interviews is an active participant in the show.

Those who enjoyed the Serial podcast will probably like this. In my opinion, it is better so far.

Two and a Half Men wrapped up last night. For a show so big at one time it sure seemed to just fade away. Every time I saw it I thought to myself it can't be that hard to write for a sitcom.

I'm just surprised that had the ratings and audience it did. I've never met anyone who watched it.
Will donate kidney for B12 membership.

Last Man on Earth was pretty good. Interesting concept and Will Forte is funny. Fox with Empire and this show appears to be on the upswibg.
Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

Not 2015, but has anybody watched the Following with Kevin Bacon?
"Guitar groups are on their way out, Mr Epstein."

Upon rejecting the Beatles, Dick Rowe told Brian Epstein of the January 1, 1962 audition for Decca, which signed Brian Poole and the Tremeloes instead.

              It's amazing. Amazingly stupid.

Haha...I had this thought the other day while watching the Season 3 premier. "This is a waste of my time..." Yet, I can't turn away!
"They're good. They've always been good" - David Shaw.

Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

I agree that it is absurd yet easy to get hooked into. You think nobody could be that stupid. Yet you still watch.

Here's my entire TV watching schedule:

Walking Dead, Justified, Downton Abbey, Fresh off the Boat, Anything on the Smithsonian Channel, Better Call Saul, Vanderpump ::gulp:: Rules, Empire, The Musketeers.
I'm hoping that Dig turns out to be a good show.

Haven't watched Empire, don't plan to. But it's a huge ratings hit.

American Crime on ABC received really good aggregate review for a new show (84) on Metacritic. Watched it last night and it's really good.

Netflix premiered that new Ellie Kemper show today. It's also supposed to be good.

There's too much good TV right now. And it's only getting worse when Game of Thrones and Silicon Valley comes back in a month.

In addition to Better Call Saul, Last Man on Earth and American Crime, there are other new shows on marginal cable channels that are also quite good -- Fortitude and Shits Creek. Both are foreign shows that apparently landed on these stations that are probably partially owned by these foreign tv channels (still Anglo, Fortitude is from the UK and Shits Creek is a CBC show).

I just looked at metacritic and apparently A&E came out with an adaptation of The Returned which is loads better than the ABC version. There's way too much supply, I'm fearing a TV crash that resembles the video game crash from 1983.
