If this is legit, my purpose in life is to own it.

It'll be interesting to see how popular a controller-less console is b/c I think people like the control that comes with using a controller. (I'm using the word control here too much, sorry). For example, when I play Tiger Woods PGA on our Wii I hate using the Wii remote as the club, I much rather prefer using either the classic controller or the nunchuk just because I feel like I have more control in the game.

a big feature they're trying to push with the natal sensor is the virtual avatar, so your avatar can interact with others and facebook, twitter, etc. via xbox live.

If that is how the game play in THPS is going to be, I am all in.

I can only imagine how rad and tiring playing football, basketball or baseball games on that thing would be. That is so awesome.

Seriously, can you imagine playing a game like Madden, running to catch a ball? Basketball games might become fun again actually shooting instead of taking a chance that they go in.

                  Seriously, very very rad.

                    In my future

"Mr. Williams, you need to connect prong A17 to adapter 2B. The prong has a chartruese bushing around the connection. Without this, the Natal will not be able to recognize your face. Yes, I know it's complicated, sir. No, I am not a smartass, Mr. Williams....sorry Dr. Williams. May I recommend our Natal installation service. For only $249.99, we will send a tech by your home to install your Natal. Yes, sir, I know that's a lot of money, but you should have thought of that before you bought the Natal."

The rest of us rarely bother to think about our actions." --Solon

You can buy a golf club "extension" for your Wii controller for Tiger Woods. BTW, have you seen the new Wii control plus controller? Check out the new Tiger Woods game with the new controller. Looks very interesting.

This evil invention is the next step toward the telescreen. They're coming for you and you're just letting them in. Just make sure not to commit any thoughtcrimes against Microsoft. Perhaps I should rethink my world domination plan.

Wow. That looks like something out of the Jetsons. I think this is the time when all the Wii owners crap their pants and start saying, "I'm glad we bought the Wii and not the xbox because our kids have fun playing Wii bowling...."

PS that kid has never ridden a skateboard in his life.

This is as ambitious as hell.

                              If it can

                              A.) Work as shown

B.) Be affordable to the average American consumer and

C.) Manage to pull off the "avatar/interact with your friends" aspects

I will be very, very impressed.

                              Remember the Virtual Boy?
