I've swam here ever summer of my adult life...

and every summer there she is, lotioning, oiling, oiling, lotioning...smiling!

For those of you who have kids, I hope they are growing up on this movie. I loved it as a kid, and last night I picked up a copy for $5 at Costco. The Mrs. and I made an evening viewing, and I'm happy to report that it's lost none of its considerable charm. Still hilarious and wildly entertaining fifteen years after its release.

Viewing it now as an adult, it seems to perfectly capture that nostalgia of youth. Running around with your friends, grilling up some food around the 4th of July, finding any and all excuses to play ball all over the neighborhood, and talking about the local hotties you were too scared to actually approach.

    Good times.
So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

A personal favorite of mine. Dennis Leary and Karen Allen and James Earl Jones as the only real adult roles, too.
Awesomeness now has a name. Let me introduce myself.

Love the movie, and when I've got some little ones of my own I'll make sure to pop it in the DVD player.

I watch this movie whenever it comes on. Benny the Jet Rodriguez and his PF Flyers are some bad muthas.

This is watched by one of my boys at least once a week. I love the film.

My dad used to have several rental properties in the old avenues in Midvale where Vincent's Drug Store is. I was picking up a few rent checks for him when they were filming there one day and the kids in the film seemed genuinely excited about store with a soda fountain.

Last night I was curious what happened to her, and it looks like she's still acting and mostly doing small roles.

                And she's still a babe: http://men.style.com/slideshows/mens...ton/00001f.jpg

My two year old wants to watch "the Baseball movie" about once a week.

                          It is definitely a classic.

Sandlot is a classic. Filmed in Utah too. The mountains are unmistakable.

                              I've actually never seen it.
