I just discovered Orphan Black and it is freakin' amazing. It's a BBC show and the second season just began. I don't want to give anything away, so I'll only tell you how it begins (the first few minutes):

SPOILER ALERT for first few minutes of the first episode!

So a punk rockish type chick is at an uncrowded train station somewhere around or in London. She's waiting for a train and she sees a woman acting strangely . The woman's back is to her and she's taking off her shoes and then her coat. Punk girl (she's not super punk, just a little) walks up to her to see what's wrong. As she approaches from behind, the woman turns, tears in her eyes and looks at punk girl. She looks just like punk girl but more professionally dressed and with a different haircut. Without saying a word, but looking real sad, she turns and walks right in front of an oncoming train, killing herself.

Those first few minutes are the best 10 minutes of the entire series. I will say that my nephew, who works in the tv biz, loves it.

We are big fans. As we watched the first episode of season 2 the other night, I found myself wishing we'd re-watched the last few episodes of season 1 as a refresher since it had been so long since season 1 ended.

The first 10 minutes are very good, but I'm up to episode 6 (I'm binge watching) and I'm digging the whole thing.

Tatiana Maslany, the lead actress(es), is very talented, as I believe I've shared here before. My wife's favorite character is Allison.

I saw an article about how great the show was so I set the DVR and grabbed all of season 1 and the premiere of season 2. I got 1 1/2 episodes in and deleted them all. Just wasn't for me.

We're about 5 eps into season 1 and I can't decide if I love it or hate it. It's like Multiplicity meets Girl w/Dragon Tattoo.

                  Good analogy and I agree.
