      Yeah I agree.

The thing that really killed the ending for me is how poorly Erlich was utilized in the last couple of episodes, especially with him leaving the show. It is going to be hard moving forward without him on the show. He really was the best character on the show, with Jared being second.

        Ron or Leo?

Also is it really possible to be an even unfunnier version of Gallagher. Perhaps Ron accomplished that feat, but it isn't like I ever saw him perform to know one way or the other.

It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't great. I liked the role household appliances (and indirectly, Jin-Yiang) played in the denouement.

I watched the first 15-20 minutes or so of the comedy special and bailed; very disappointing. I'd prefer not to devote further thought to how he matches up with the Gallagher family.

it just seemed lazy. like, you need 200k or whatever hooliphones to decentralize the melcher data, but 30k smart fridges gives you enough space? makes no sense.

Most of the time factual absurdities bother me in a show, but for some reason they don't with Silicon Valley (going back to when their disbarred attorney couldn't represent them in court, but could handle a nonjudicial arbitration). Thus, I liked the deus ex machina conclusion, although I'm wondering what they're going to do about the hundreds of crotch burns.

Are you willing to devote any further thought to comparing Gallagher to Gallagher Too/Two?

                • Favorite part was probably the cut from Barker's conjoined triangles of success to his captivity.

I seriously question if this show works without Erlich.

                          • There have absolutely been good moments in the past 2 episodes. My fear about why this show doesn't work without Erlich though was present in both episodes.

Jian Yang works as a character because of his interactions with Erlich. The interactions between Jian Yang and Erlich are some of my favorite in the show. I don't think Jian Yang works as a character without Erlich. The attempts to create a new rivalry between Jian Yang and everyone else isn't working.

                              • This new season totally snuck up on me. Had know idea it was back on until last night. I enjoyed both episodes. Agreed that Jian Yang doesn’t work as well without Erlich.
