Do we really not have a thread for this? I looked for one and didn't see anything. But in thinking back it seems most of the discussion was in the general Netflix thread. At any rate, season 2 is about a week away and I'm very much looking forward to it. There were some rumors that the show was done after 2, but I'm not sure what became of that talk. Anyone heard?
So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

Nice. Didn't seem like they had an end-game for the show with 2, so glad to see there's a 3. Wouldn't mind seeing it cut off there, though.

Not sure how much further they could push it. Frank would have a hard time offing the POTUS and the guy was less than a year into his first term when he became VP.

What happened to our other thread? Was that in the Netflix thread?

Got through 5 episodes so far. I'm liking it. The premiere was excellent. I loved the ending of that episode.

The first episode is great. They found a nice ass double for Kate. Best ass double since Up in the Air.

              Yeah. Baby got back.

Our group's reaction to the premiere went something like this:

                Yep great opener.

                Spoiler for spoiler:
Even though I was sort of expecting her to get pushed in front of the train it was still a holy shit moment.

Yeah as long as she deleted the text messages from her phone first they can never be discovered.

                    Spoiler for Plot Holes:
Or how they don't see her in the video talking through the fence before Frank killed her. You have to suspend quite a bit of belief for the plot of this show. But the acting, particularly Spacey is superb. I have really enjoyed the back and forth between Tusk and Underwood. Also, little things make this show great. The cufflinks for example. Brilliant.

I just can't believe they had him throw her under the bus like that.

I'll admit, I didn't see it coming whatsoever. I was on the elliptical at the time and it stopped me dead in my tracks.

[Spoiler]I assumed he was meeting her to kill her, but when they met in the subway, I immediately thought "no way he kills her here--subways are completely crawling with surveillance cameras".

Somehow there is no footage of him entering or leaving the subway dressed all suspiciously. :eyeroll:

Holy crap. Way to start things off with a bang.

That gift at the end was hilarious. And Spacey is a fantastic actor.
