So this looks pretty good. O'Russell apparently decided to combine his casts from The Fighter and Silver Linings Playbook and get them in one movie.

At any rate, Christian Bale apparently got fat for the movie.

I swear the guy is going to do permanent harm to himself.
So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

If nothing else, this movie has spawned this poster featuring Jennifer Lawrence and to that end, it was all worth it.

Now I'm gonna have to clear my history just in case President Packer does a spot check on me.

Not a fan. Can't exactly explain why, but she does absolutely nothing for me.

I can explain it, not that there's anything wrong with it.

We saw this last night and loved it. The acting was great, Bale, Adams, and Lawrence especially shone. The scene where Lawrence's eyes dart back and forth is excellent. I forgot that Jeremy Renner was an actor, meaning he disappeared into the part. Amy Adams dazzled and the cool seduction of Cooper was awesome. And, Bale, well, I think it's his best role since American Psycho, maybe even Empire of the Sun.

I want to know how the damned ice fishing story ended.

Saw it on Christmas Eve and loved it. Not my favorite movie of the year, but certainly in my top ten. The acting was great. The story was interesting. I've heard some people complain that the plot was not coherent, but I didn't see that at all. My favorite D.O. Russell film by far.
