I'll skip to the point...not that great.

I've always been a fan of the Terminator series, but it's just got too much going on. With the addition of the Sarah Connor Chronicles, they have even more loose ends that they can't tie up. I realize it's science fiction, but the plot holes are making the whole thing less enjoyable. As we were coming out of the movie, I heard 3 or 4 other couples trying to put it all together as well.

I don't know what it is, but this one didn't even feel like a Terminator movie. I guess it's probably the absence of Ahhhnold. Wait for the DVD.

It did have some really cool moments, but like you, was overall disapointed.

No real heart and Christian Bale was just atrocious.

Sam Worthington however....he's a future big star.

Dude I didn't know there was supposed to be one. Was that shot before they decided to make it PG-13?

This movie was among the loudest I've ever seen, and I haven't seen dialogue that bad since Attack of the Clones. I'd still give it maybe 4/10 due to some cool action scenes, but it really was a terribly-made movie.

I took my 12 year-old daughter and her friend to "Night at the Museum 2," and decided that I just couldn't sit through that one. So I left them and went wandering in the megaplex. The Terminator movie was starting at about the same time, so I gave in and sat down to watch it.

By halfway through the movie I wished I had stayed in 'Night at the Museum." The Terminator flick was boring. Besides, it was so loud and there was so much yelling all the time that it was difficult to figure out exactly what was going on, the plot was full of holes, and the characters were not believable. Even if you're a big fan of the series (I am not) you will want to wait for the DVD.

Making matters worse, right behind me were sitting a man and his very young son. The boy was frightened and kept sobbing and asking his dad to take him out. Dad, of course, refused. This really did not enhance my viewing experience.

I think so.

Will that scene be an extra on the DVD, or will you cut it back in for an R-rated version for the DVD?

McG: I haven't decided yet. We're looking at the different ways to express the DVD. I think I'll include all the extra scenes.

Such as?

McG: There's a topless scene of Moon Bloodgood that I thought was a very beautiful scene, that Moon thought was a beautiful scene, that we ultimately cut because we didn't want to fall into any of the cliches of the genre, like "Here's the scene where the beautiful girl takes her top off." I thought it was a soft moment between a man and a woman that was designed to echo the Kelly McGillis/Harrison Ford moment in Witness, for God's sake. They never touch each other; they just notice each other. But, in the end, it felt more like a gratuitous moment of a girl taking her top off in an action picture, and I didn't want that to convolute the story or the characters.
