I've always been a sucker for nature shows, and this series is one of the best I have seen. Tom Selleck narrates it, and the hi-def, slo-mo photography is nothing short of amazing. If you haven't seen it, you should give it a peek.

As an environmental biologist, I endorse this post. Really quality videography and a lot of great information, even if you have to listen to Tom Selleck to get it.Originally posted by Non Sequitur View PostI've always been a sucker for nature shows, and this series is one of the best I have seen. We've been watching weekly. It has replaced AFV as our family's Sunday night pre-bedtime show. Great stuff. I'm not sure it's as good as Planet Earth from 6-7 years ago (but I haven't seen any of those since 2007, and I certainly haven't made any in-depth comparisons), but it's close. I kind of like how each episode of Planet Earth picks a climate/habitat/season and sticks with it. This one definitely bounces around more.Prepare to put mustard on those words, for you will soon be consuming them, along with this slice of humble pie that comes direct from the oven of shame set at gas mark “egg on your face”! -- Moss
There's three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who's got the same first name as a city; and never go near a lady's got a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, everything else is cream cheese. --Coach Finstock
